This home was purchased by my grandparents in the 1950’s. It was the only home in this area at that time. They raised 2 young boys here (my father and uncle) and later retired in this quaint little home. Since then, my siblings and I have each lived in this home with our significant others and children.
Through the years our family has developed strong relationships with each of the neighbors. The majority of them are original owners of the homes around us. The inside of this home has witnessed many Sunday dinners with 3 generations of family gathered around. It has hosted many holiday and birthday celebrations throughout the years. Four years ago, I made the decision to move our young family into this home. I wanted to raise my young children in the same home that their grandfather lived in as a young boy. Soon enough our family was growing again and we found ourselves out of space to finish raising our children.
We have enclosed the yard and patio to allow for privacy while your family can enjoy the spring, summer, and fall weather. When you are outside grilling, watching the kids play in the yard, or hosting a gathering of family and friends, you will be amazed at how quiet and private Davis Avenue.
This home is located very close to Route 85 and is just a 3 minute drive to I-90 and only 6 minutes from I-87. Crossgates Mall and Colonie Center are located a few miles away. If your prefer to shop smaller and unique stores, Stuyvesant Plaza offers book stores, boutique clothing, fine dining, and salons located only 3 miles away.
We have worked hard to do the important updates. So whether you’re looking at 68 Davis as your first or last home, we hope you’ll enjoy just turning the key and moving in.
